The CLIENT
Founded by childhood friends, Clix is a line of herbal-blended, vibe-specific cannabis products. Built on a deep belief in the power of plants—from cannabis, to mugwort, to passionflower—Clix values inclusivity, multiculturalism, and deep community connection.
the brief
Clix’s herbal blends, range of vibes, and variety of products meant they could support cannabis users of all kinds, in pursuit of their most creative, inspired lives. We needed to build a brand and assets that educated buyers—from consumers themselves to the dispensaries who stock our product—and showcased the many combinations available. We also wanted to pay homage to Clix’s community connection and creative roots.
Our Approach
After identifying Clix’s core values in a series of brand strategy sessions, we all agreed that the brand should celebrate and engage with local artists. So we created a bold, black and white logo and design system that could sit on top of original art from the founders’ network. The result? A simple, adaptable design allowing for a constant rotation of new art by local artists while building consistency and brand recognition for returning customers.
